With the rapid development of knowledge economy and the renewal of the social values, the phenomenon of abandoning the college entrance examination has been into the public eye, and caused the extensive concern of the society. We could know the social flow of the students who abandon the college entrance examination and we also could find the current problem of the college entrance examination system and the higher education system by study on the phenomenon of abandoning the college entrance examination. And it could provide the basis of the theory and practice for the college entrance examination system and he higher education system.The study based on the phenomenon of abandoning the college entrance examination of the Nanjing county of Fujian province, focus on the education choice of the three high school students who abandon the college entrance examination with the method of interviewing and case analysis, in order to find the social flow of the students who abandon the college entrance examination in Nanjing county, and further analyzes and summarizes the cause of the phenomena, then put forward the proposals.The study finds the phenomena become more and more serious; the phenomena has made an impact on the college entrance examination system, posed a threat to high education and posed a challenge to vocational and technical education; the education choices of the students who abandon the college entrance examination are diversification, such as "studying abroad","going out for work","vocational and technical education and training","joining the army", and "recommending for admission to college without examination"; there are six factors caused the phenomenon of abandoning the college entrance examination:the students’ individual differences, the family capital difference, the family and the students’ individual expectations-values differences; school education resources differences, and the problems existing in the education and labor market.Thus, we should insight into the phenomenon of abandoning the college entrance examination, and try our best to relieve the phenomenon.
