Many art students who want to enter universities by enhancing their scores. Ifound out that the is to raise their interest in the history. Owing to variousreasons,these art candidates lacks interest in the history, they even repel this subject.Therefore, the issue of changing their attitude and attracting their interest in historyserve as the cornerstone of the learning process.History is an integral part of the education in senior high school period, however, itssignificance is often overlooked. Art candidates often lack the basic knowledge ofhistory, as a result, their interest is hampered and scores are relatively low.In the first place, the paper emphasizes the concept, function and importance ofinterest in learning.secondly, from the perspectives of textbooks, teachers, artcandidates and parents, the paper examines the factors influencing interest. Finally,the author put forward a series of principles and methods to guide the history teachingof art candidates.
