The Chinese Dream cannot realize without the modernization of agriculture and thecountryside. The construction of beautiful China needs to not only develop the rural economy butalso narrow the urban-rural gap. Building a new countryside is a complicated and arduous historictask. The specialized village is an important object that rural geography recently focuses on, a newrural economic development model, and also one of the effective methods to build a newcountryside. For now, most studies on the specialized village focus on the importance of thedevelopment of the specialized village to agricultural economy, but very little involve industry, especially the formation mechanism and influencing factors of the industrial specialized village. Inthis paper, the town of Zhanjie in Gongyi City, Henan Province is chosen as the study object toquantitatively study the evolution of the spatial agglomeration and formation mechanism ofmanufacturing type specialized village, using Spss18.0, ArcGIS10.0and related software, and thedescriptive statistics and data modeling methods. This paper gets the following conclusions:(1)Use location quotient, Gini coefficient, fixed EG index and dynamic aggregationindex to determine the spatial agglomeration level of the manufacturing type specialized villagesin the town of Zhanjie. The calculation results indicate that within the study time limit, the spatialagglomeration degree of the specialized villages is at a higher level. Relatively activemanufacturing production areas mainly concentrate in areas with convenient transportation, suchas the town of Laocheng, the town of Dongzhanzhen, and Bagou. Xiaohuangye and Heyao have high level of specializing, but manufacturing production agglomeration of the specialized villagedegrades. By2011, all of the areas are in the stage of agglomeration degradation, except theLaocheng, Wanggou, Beiyaowan, and Bagou these four specialized villages whose manufacturingproduction is in the balanced development.(2)The formation and development of the manufacturing industrial specialized villageare influenced by various factors, such as transportation, rent, personal relationship, individualquality and ability, capital, technology, and the government. Among them, transportation is thedominant factor affecting the development of the specialized village, followed by individualquality and ability and rent. They have different functions in various development stages of thespecialized village. In the early stage of the formation of the specialized village, it is theconvenient transportation and low rents that lead the specialized programs to initially concentratein some local areas. Transportation and market factors are the important factors that determine theconcentration of industry in a certain area. With the development of the specialized village, farmer’s individual quality and ability of assessment and risk elimination appear gradually, becoming the important factor affecting the agglomeration of the specialized village.(3). The agglomeration of the manufacturing industrial specialized villages is affected byimitation innovation, network connection, scale and economies of labor division, and governmentforces together. These factors show different functions in various agglomeration stages of thespecialized villages. Overall, the agglomeration of the manufacturing type specialized village iswith the farmers’ spontaneously formation and government promotion, and based on the imitationinnovation and network connection, to realize the special union of the specialized village based onscale and economies of labor division. (4) The development of the manufacturing industrial specialized villages needs tooptimize the products and the industrial structure, optimize the development environment of thespecialized village, strengthen the government’s guidance and support, promote the developmentlevel of the manufacturing industrial specialized village, promote sustained and stable regionaleconomic growth, and accelerate the implementation of industrialization of the countryside.
