Qualitative Research On "Post-90s"College Students’Willpower And The Factors Behinds

With the continuous updating of the student age groups,"post-90s" college students have increasingly become the main force. Due to the impact of the times and social development, college students not only have distinct characteristics, but also different mental health problems loom large in them, all of which are different from before. Frustration is very common in our daily life But for a long time, frustration education of university is almost a blank. Lack of education leads considerable number of students do very well in their study, but fail in the psychological quality. Willpower is an important part of personality. Good willpower can help to solve the problem. Students with complete willpower will be less affected by the psychological distress, or we can say they will have the capacity to deal with it when they are faced with all kinds of difficulties in their study,work or life. So, good willpower is a necessary condition to maintain mental health, shape a sound personality and achieve success.Currently, research on willpower, especially on college students’willpower is less, and there is a limitation called "too focus on theoretical research and practical research lightly". They mainly study athletes,and the main method is quantitative research methods. What’s more, a unified standard level test has not been formed, so the pertinence is not so good. Therefore, this study wants to use the method of qualitative research to add research experience for reference empirical research in the field of college willpower. This study uses qualitative research methods, semi-structured interview outline as the interview tool, by the way of random screening S recruiting school10interviewees and interview data collected through in-depth interviews in the form of existing research model as Willpower analysis template, draw respondents willpower situation.Through the study, I find that because of the limited personal experience and the lack of specialized knowledge of psychology education, Interviewees know little about willpower but not fully understand, the majority of Interviewees’understanding of the concept of willpower mainly focus on the quality of tenacity, while the small number of Interviewees mainly focus on self-control aspects. At the same time, affected by individuals, families, schools or other environmental factors, the Interviewees’ willpower is featured with not only similarities but also differences. Generally affected by the change of geography and environment, there is a contradiction partial aspects.
