The formation of a person’s moral quality contains elements of moral cognition, moral emotion, moral will, moral belief and moral behavior, among which moral emotion acts as a "catalyst" role. Without moral emotion excitation, there will hardly be no moral will and moral belief, neither moral behavior. College students, a youth group standing on certain level of moral cognition, in reality are easy to show up deviations in moral behavior, which is known to be break-off phenomenon between knowledge and practice, such as emotional indifference, interpersonal strains, irresponsibility, disregard and irreverence for life and disregard for morals and laws, etc. Various causes of the above phenomenon include social environment, family education factors, problems existing in school education idea and mode, and also problems of students their own. However, college bear responsibility to cultivate students into qualified socialist builders and successors of knowledge superb, moral character noble, ideal, morally, well-educated, and self-disciplined. It is more important for college to focus on students’moral character education and cultivation. In the stage of students’moral education in university education, it is unlikely to stay in the traditional education on moral cognition, neither to achieve moral education goal by moral inculcation in a classroom or by students’provisions memorization. It should study how to stimulate students’moral emotion, thus to actually promote the moral behavior of college students, and finally to form good moral behavior habits.This study is based on the perspective of college students’moral emotion education, and to study and refer the American educator Noddings’care theory, generally by ways of documentary analysis, logic analysis and comparative research, etc. By excavating reasonable components of care theory through objective analyzing, researching and demonstrating care theory, together with the moral emotion education as an entry point, this study is to explore how to improve the effectiveness of college students’moral emotion education, which is theoretically and practically important to promote college students’moral unity of knowledge and practice.The innovation of this study is as the following:Based on the care theory and in the perspective of moral emotion education, this study tries to solve the problem of knowledge and practice unity in Chinese college students’ moral education, to promote the formation of good moral behavior habits, applying the method of comparative research.This study is mainly divided into introduction, body text and conclusion. Body text includes three parts.Introduction. Mainly to illustrate research origin, research significance, research status at home and abroad, research emphases, difficulties and innovation points, and also research methods; Then to define the core concepts of the study:care, moral, emotion, moral emotion education,moral emotion experience.The first part:overview of care theory. Mainly to introduce the background of proposing care theory and to analyze thoughts origin, main content, and basic characteristics of care theory. Based on the above elements, this study is to explore that care theory is practically significant for college students to establish fine relationships, to shape healthy psychology, and to arouse moral emotion. Moreover it is to demonstrate why care theory is able to be imitated and used in our county.The second part:current status and problems of college students’ moral emotion education in our country. In this part, it is mainly to analyze achievements in college students’ moral emotion education in our country, such as active explores on new methods of moral emotion education, combination of moral emotion education and aesthetic education, great attention to value and function of practice. At the same time, it also describes real existing problems: disregard and irreverence for life, emotional indifference on the surroundings, interpersonal strains, and also irresponsibility for the deterioration of ecological environment and for the development of the society etc. Being targeted to focus on reasons of problems existing from three aspects:family, school, and society.The third part:to strengthen college students’ moral emotion education strategy in our country. This part is the essence of this study. It focuses on how care theory is applied to college students’moral emotion education in our country, and on putting forward practical strategies from three aspects:family, school and society.
