| The ongoing and the continuation of the development of the international Chinese Language Education abroad makes a Chinese education all over the world is now like a raging fire. Recently, Thailand has also set off a wave of learning Chinese and the government strongly supports the promotion of Chinese education which begins from a primary school. In this paper, the author has conducted a research on related problems of teaching Chinese language at Anuban Muang Uthaithani School after did an internship as a Chinese teacher at this school. Through the investigation, I thoroughly understand the basic situation at the initial stage of teaching Chinese at Anuban Muang Uthai Thani primary school, the specific situation of teaching Chinese and the existing problems. This investigation used a combining way of a practical experience and relevant records to understand the students’learning Chinese situation and teaching Chinese through the questionnaires and interviews. Through this investigation, we found that there are some problems on teaching Chinese that can’t be ignored. For example:there is no clear teaching syllabus, learning hour is insufficient, teachers are lacking of teaching ability and teaching experience, materials are unable to meet the students’ needs, the materials are not consistent with the development of the students’ Chinese level. Finally, give some corresponding solutions to these problems, hoping that we can provide some references for the better development of a Chinese education in Thailand.This thesis is mainly divided into four parts. The first part is the introduction, including the objectives of a research, research methods and literature review. The second part is a summary of the current situation of teaching Chinese at a primary school level in Thailand, including the basic situation of teaching Chinese at Anuban Muang Uthai Thani primary school. The third part is the investigation and analysis on the current situation of teaching Chinese at Anuban Muang UthaiThani primary school, this is the core part of the thesis. The fourth part is the solution of teaching Chinese’s problems for Anuban Muang Uthai Thani primary school, gives some corresponding suggestions and countermeasures and hope that this could help promoting teaching Chinese in a primary school in Thailand. |
