In more than30years of opening up, China has made great progress in economy, and China and the rest of the world has experienced and witnessed great changes. As science and technology becomes primary development force, and problems related to talents are more serious, talents resource turns out to a basic, central and strategic resource determining a country’s competitiveness. Therefore, China’s entrepreneurs, which take on their shoulders the responsibilities of a country’s economic liftoff, are eager for quality talents. For a China’s entrepreneur, having a team of high quality talented persons increases core competitiveness and facilitates a great-leap-forward development. Universities are the place where talents grow and develop. Therefore, they are responsible not only for cultivating high quality graduates, but the providing pragmatic talents who meet the demands of the China’s entrepreneurs. As a result, the job performance and the ways to promote the university graduates’job performance becomes the major concern of China’s entrepreneurs.In this research, by reviewing a body of literature, we found that most of the researches are about employment of university students and how recruitment of talents, few followed up the job performance and development of the university students after they began to work. Therefore, this research is aimed to investigate job performance of university students in the first3years of employment and its affecting factors. It is expected that results of this research is important to help China’s entrepreneurs to investigate job performance of university graduates in the first three years of employment, we distributed1156questionnaire among employees with university degree in one company and interviewed some of them. Variance analysis and regression analysis were used for comparison and analysis.This research provides China’s entrepreneurs in a stage of development suggestions on determining policies on recruitment, allocation strategies and new staff mentoring and coaching.
