Study On The Motivation Of College Student Volunteers

The vigorous development of voluntary service provides strong support for the cause of social security. And the volunteer as the volunteer activity center has been well received by the experts and scholars in this filed. We can see from the development situation of China’s volunteer activities, the volunteer spirit lifted our dedication to boom, enhanced the speed of development the volunteer activities. From student groups to the social all walks of life, more and more citizens to participate actively in the volunteer service in the field. College student have sufficient time, and also have characteristics of autonomy, creativity and independence of their decision is the main force of volunteer activities. From the volunteer development to management, and many other factors also affect the volunteers continue and loss in the same time. Therefore,, scientific and effective incentive mechanism is an important index of university student volunteers of volunteering development curve, and also it is the key problem that the expert attention.This paper investigates the influence of college student volunteers and volunteer activities have on society, analyzed the theoretical basis of motivation for college students to volunteer activities. In order to further the understanding of college student’s volunteer activities and incentive problems, we choose300students of three university of Changchun, carried on the investigation to the college student volunteers and volunteer activities. Through the survey found material conditions, organization, participation in external factors and altruism, spirit, development of internal factors that affect college students’ participation in volunteer activities. The students in the volunteer activities are not incentive system incentive, incentive, incentive methods lack of sustainability and lack of organization, incentive content is not perfect and so on. This paper aims at these questions to propose to strengthen the system construction, improve the incentive mode, rich content of the proposed incentive.
