The local history curriculum resources are close to students and the society, so they arean important part of the history curriculum resources. The local history curriculum resourcesin Sichuan are rich and colorful, conducive to history teachers’ development and utilization.Taking Sichuan province as an example, the paper explores the way and methods of how todevelop and utilize the local history curriculum resources in the junior middle school historyteaching.This paper discusses this topic by four chapters. First of all, it expatiates on thetheoretical and practical significance of the development and utilization of the local historycurriculum resources in the junior middle school history teaching; Secondly, it introduces theabundant resources of local history curriculum of Sichuan area; Thirdly, it explain how topractice and explore the development and utilization; At last, it briefly discusses reflections andsuggestions on the development and utilization.This paper focuses on the practice and exploration of the development and utilization, andelaborates this topic from two perspectives.
