Local history curriculum resources refer to all the local history resources which are conducive to the realization of teaching objectives,including the history,geography,customs,religion and other aspects of a region.It has a unique role and value in history teaching in secondary school.It can not only stimulate students’ interest in learning,cultivate students’ feelings of home and country,expand students’ knowledge,but also supplement and enrich the teaching content.It is helpful to promote the reform of basic education and promote students’ all-round development.As a famous historical and cultural city,Hohhot has rich historical and cultural details.However,some middle schools do not attach importance to the education of local history,fail to implement the local curriculum with high quality and quantity,and local teachers do not receive systematic training of relevant teaching skills.They lack theoretical guidance in the process of developing and utilizing local history resources,which makes the use of local history resources in history teaching in Hohhot always.It’s not satisfactory.Guided by the principles of scientificity,authenticity,representativeness and appropriateness,this paper collects and collates the local history resources of Hohhot by using the methods of literature analysis and case analysis.On the basis of referring to the contents of the history textbooks of Grade 7 and 8,this paper chooses the local history course which is suitable for the teaching of Chinese history in junior middle schools.Cheng resources are classified and summarized in tabular form.In addition,this paper studies the application methods of local history curriculum resources in history teaching of secondary school,and designs relevant classroom teaching cases and extracurricular activities.The study finds that the use of local history curriculum resources can adopt new methods such as introducing new lessons,creating situations,interrupting and supplementing classes,and summarizing after class in classroom teaching;in comprehensive practical activities,students can be organized to visit museums,memorials,historical sites,hold historical fairs,knowledge competitions and carry out activities.Local history inquiry activity class.Through the study,the following conclusions can be drawn: the use of local history curriculum resources in junior high school history teaching,first of all,should follow the junior high school history curriculum standards;secondly,teachers should pay attention to enhance their own professional quality of history,and thirdly,pay attention to the authenticity of the selection of local history resources,and in Teaching to train students’ awareness of inheriting local culture Finally,we should also pay attention to selecting local history resources flexibly.
