The purpose of this study is to understand the relation between the selfconsistency and congruence, the Perceived Meaning of Life and Suicide attitude ofNormal college students.The data was derived from self-reflecting questionnaires filledin by613students from5Normal Universities and analyzed with SPSS17.0.Uponstudying data with the T-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson, S product-momentcorrelation,typical correlations and regression analysis,the following main conclusionsof this study are drawn.1. The Self-Harmony of Normal college students feel is on average;20.88%of normalcollege students have a clear goal in life and the meaning of life, the meaning of life45.68%of normal college students are unsure, lack of meaning in life32.38%ofnormal college students.16.64%of students held a positive attitude towards suicide,78.14%of the students hold contradictory attitudes,5.22%of the students held anegative attitude.2. There are significant differences in the correlation the self consistency andcongruence, the Perceived Meaning of Life and Suicide attitude of Normal collegestudents with difference in gender, age, profession, the grade distribution, whetherthe one-child cases, family history of suicide, whether the particular interests of thespecialty satisfaction, it is important to select cases.3. The relationship between the self consistency and congruence and the PerceivedMeaning of Life: self consistency and congruence with the dimensions of thevarious dimensions of the meaning of life are negatively correlated, the strongerthe sense of the meaning of life, self and experience disharmony score lower selfand experience more harmony and respect between the various dimensions the correlation coefficient significantly different4.Demographic variables, self-harmony, the meaning of life and the relationshipbetween suicide attitudes:(1). demographic variables family history of suicide, suicidal nature of theprofessional satisfaction of understanding (F1) predictive power, understandingthe nature of suicide, family history of suicide euthanasia attitude (F4) havepredictive power; professional, family history of suicide attitude scores havepredictive power.(2). self and experience dissonance, self flexibility, self-stereotyped understanding ofthe nature of suicide (F1) have predictive power. Self and experience dissonance,self flexibility, self-stereotyped attitudes to the families of suicide havepredictive power. Self-discordant pairs and experience euthanasia attitudepredictive power. Self and experience suicidal attitude pairs discordant scoreshave predictive power.(3). three dimensions of the meaning of life goals, life worth living independentpairs of understanding the nature of suicide (F1) have predictive power. Theattitudes of the families of suicide (F3) have predictive power. Life goals, life valueto the attitude of euthanasia have predictive power. Life goals, life value to scoreon suicide attitude predictive power.
