With the development of the society and economy, much attention is paidto the education field, so high school teachers are bearing more and more stress comingfrom all aspects. There are more problems related to job-burnout needing solving.In this paper, the writer takes Luzhou High School as a sample to do the research abouthow much job-burnout the high school teachers suffer and what factors are behind itthrough questionnaire. The research is done in the following ways. First, thequestionnaire is built on the Maslach. MBI-ES and is divided into three dimensionalities:passion burnout, energy burnout the losing the sense of the occupational achievement,which include18questions. According to the different degrees, the scores are from zeroto six, in which zero means never and six means everyday. Second, invite100teachersin Luzhou High School to do the questionnaire. Third, the data are dealt with SPSS16.0program.The writer uses the statistics method to analyze the job burnout and the causes of it.The research tries to explore the differences of job burnout between male and female;between the married and the single; between the old and the young. The results are asfollows:1.Of the100teachers the average scores and variance from the threedimensionalities: passion burnout, energy burnout the losing the sense of theoccupational achievement are3.52±1.39、2.68±1.78and2.04±1.43. The median isthree, which proves that the degree of the sense of the occupational achievement ishigher than the rest two dimensionalities.2.There exist obvious differences between male and female in the two of three dimensionalities. It means the gender is a variable that can affect the degree of jobburnout.3. The marriage is also a variable that can affect the degree of job burnout. Themarried teachers suffer the job burnout more easily.4.The length of teaching time is a variable that is closely related to the degree ofjob burnout. Teachers of varied teaching time focus on different things and have variousfeelings.The innovation of the research method lies in the totally newly designed scalebased on the original statement of the interviewees and the collection of the data fromthe high school teachers by comparing and analyzing the independent samples ofdifferent genders and marriage situations. In addition to it, narrative research study, anew and attractive way is used to support the research. Finally the writer tries to find outwhat factors affect the high school teachers’ occupational job burnout, how much it isaffected and attempt to give the proper countermeasures to deal with it from threeaspects:school, socirty and individuality.The deficiency of this research is that all of its samples are limited only among a limitednumber of Luzhou High School teachers, who can not represent all the high schoolteachers.
