Design And Application Research Of Marathon Race Data Visualization Platform Based On React Technology

The "marathon fever" that has accompanied China’s socio-economic development is the best expression of people’s aspiration for a better life.The advancement of technology has also injected many new elements into the marathon,such as Internet of Things technology,visualisation technology and cloud service technology,which are gradually enriching and improving various aspects of the marathon,providing marathon organisers with a more convenient and efficient way of organising and managing the event,as well as bringing a better experience to the participants.Data visualisation technology is now a widely used technology in sports events,and many aspects of the development of marathon organisation at home and abroad are closely related to it.However,the application of data visualisation technology in marathons at home and abroad is mainly focused on the use of visualisation technology to improve the news coverage of the event,while the actual development and application of visualisation software and platforms are relatively rare,making the process of marathon events and technological innovation relatively slow and leading to the fact that data visualisation technology has not yet been able to fully play its proper value in marathons.This paper adopts cross-disciplinary research methods such as literature method,expert interview method,case study method and software writing method.By investigating the basic requirements of the marathon race data visualisation platform,and based on the study and analysis of the outline of the requirements put forward by the 2022 Beijing Marathon Organising Committee for the visualisation platform,a preliminary platform design plan is proposed.Based on a full understanding of the current situation of the application of visualisation technology,combined with interviews with marathon related experts and field visits to relevant events,the design of the marathon race data visualisation platform was completed.The platform is based on React technology,relying on the marathon IoT electronic timing device,and consists of a front-end visualisation display part and a back-end server part,using the visualised race data to serve the marathon event.Finally,the complete process and practical application of the platform design is discussed,and the practical value that data visualisation can provide to the stakeholders of the marathon is analysed and the following conclusions are drawn:this paper completes the general outline of the design of the data visualisation platform,combining the current popular visualisation technologies and innovative algorithms to ensure that the platform can be applied to all kinds of large marathon events,improving the efficiency of all kinds of resources,personnel scheduling and command during the marathon.It also provides a reference for the subsequent development and design of data visualization platforms for sports events in China.
