The arrival of big data era promotes the development of education modernization and informatization.Along with the advancement of education domain informationization,colleges and universities in the construction of digital campus and the network education investment also increase gradually.They deploy a wide range of the teaching and education management system such as student status management system,library system,the network teaching platform,etc.The software in education sector to bring convenient at the same time,also stored in the system with huge amounts of information of students and the learning process data.The effective use of these data is not only the focus in the study of teaching in colleges and universities,but also the key to winning in the new education reform in colleges and universities.The value of educational data is to process and reuse massive data stored in education and teaching platforms through the use of data mining tools and methods,so that these educational data can obtain the ability to serve education or other fields again.These abilities are data value.Through the mining of the value of educational data,the platform can be improved,teachers can carry out personalized teaching and teaching students in accordance with their aptitude,and students can also get more suitable course recommendation when selecting courses,which is different from the traditional classroom.This paper expounds the data value of the network teaching platform from theory and practice in five chapters.Firstly,the research status and existing problems of data value of network teaching platform are clarified through literature review and summary.Secondly,the research and interpretation of relevant theories provide a solid theoretical basis for the development of the paper.Thirdly,taking the empirical research on the"iclass" teaching platform of Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications("Iclass" will be used instead below)as an example,this paper will analogize the network teaching platform of colleges and universities,and summarize its data types and application directions.In the end,the paper puts forward some Suggestions for the value mining and utilization of the education data of the network teaching platform,and makes a summary of the whole paper.This paper use the method of combining theory and practice through the data mining and analysis of visualization tools,the use of SPSS and Treemap,mining and intuitive shows the data value of network teaching platform;Through the empirical study of "iclass",proved that the network teaching platform of basic data structure,make the network teaching platform more concrete,also make the data easier to understand the concept of value;At the same time,the innovative 3 d model of network teaching platform data value,the research framework of the data value is more distinct,logic is more clear,is the height of the whole paper is summarized and refined.This paper is a case study of "iclass",and it analogizes the data and data value of the entire network teaching platform aiming to better serve traditional education and accelerate the pace of modernization education through the mining of data value.
