| With the continued national push for a new infrastructure for education,the field of education has ushered in the transformation of the information age,and further education is a topic that cannot be avoided in the education sector.Under the new college entrance examination policy,universities are recruiting students according to their chosen subjects and majors,making it difficult for students to choose subjects and majors.Career planning has become a key part of the transition to university.For instructors,a large amount of data is needed to support students’ career planning and guidance,which involves many sources,dimensions and different structures of data.It is difficult for instructors to intuitively analyze a lot of data and discover the value and laws behind the data.Regular,simple data presentation can no longer provide effective guidance for students.The integration of these heterogeneous data to provide an effective analysis tool for the instructors is a key research priority in the field of career planning.This paper integrates the heterogeneous data in the academic career planning scene,proposes a variety of visual expression designs based on the visual layout algorithm,and implements the academic career planning visualization platform.This platform is mainly developed for the guidance of academic career planning in high schools.It obtains information and data related to further education through network data collection technology,and designs information display and human-computer interaction on the student side of the academic career platform through web front-end technology.It collects multi-dimensional information data of students through the evaluation results of the evaluation model on the academic student side,including personality tendencies,ability literacy,personal achievements,interests and advantages,etc.,and visualizes the evaluation results with Canvas technology.At the same time,events are tracked for students’ interactive operations and browsing behavior records,background log data is monitored.The collected heterogeneous data is integrated through the ETL process.After analyzing the integrated data,visualize the mapping through visualization technology,and develop a radar chart for student assessment reports and a word cloud for student assessment keywords through Canvas;through D3.js,a professional relationship diagram based on force-guided layout and a tree diagram for professional classification were developed,and the influence of different visualization layout algorithms on visualization design was analyzed,and finally a visualization platform for academic career planning was realized.The platform helps middle school students to self-cognition,understand further information,assist instructors to visually analyze students on the big screen of academic career data visualization,and make academic career planning guidance.The visualization platform of academic career planning designed and implemented in this paper has passed the system test and finally delivered to meet the functional requirements of users.This paper solves the problem that it is difficult to intuitively analyze a large amount of heterogeneous data in the academic career scenario and provide value for the instructor by integrating a large amount of heterogeneous data and visualizing the heterogeneous data in the academic career planning scenario.The platform assists decision-makers in guiding students’ academic career planning through various visual expressions such as radar charts,relationship charts,tree charts,and word clouds.At present,this platform has been used in a middle school in Beijing to assist high school students in their career planning. |
