In the background of quality education in China, educators focuson how to cultivate students’ self-efficacy and creativity abilityby making use of the present education resources. Students can learnthe theories, acquire the ability of thinking from multipleperspectives, thinking critically and reflectively, as well as improvethe logical and cognitive ability. Hence their confidence andinnovative thinking ability are also improved. Does Philosophy forChildren have certain influence on cultivation of students’self-efficacy and creativity ability? Can we combine the presentPhilosophy for Children course with the psychology research ofself-efficacy and creativity promotion to achieve a better educationeffect?In this essay, the Philosophy for Children’s impact on students’self-efficacy and creation is discussed.And we conclude that,1. The Philosophy for Children can promote the self-efficacy of seniorprimary school students.2. The Philosophy for Children can promote the creation tendency ofsenior primary school students.
