The Impact Of College Students' Vocational Tendency And Self-efficacy On Career Planning

The group of college students is special, they bear the social expectation. And they are the talents of building socialist modernization. With the development of economies and societies, and after the repeal of the distribution employment system and the marketization of employment system, the college students'employment faces great pressure. So that the social and colleges begin to attach importance to students' employment guidance. However the most fundamental to the student is to learn how to plan your career.On the foundation of reading papers of vocational tendency , self-efficacy and career planning ,600 college students from Changchun university of science and engineering and Changchun university were selected using the career planning questionnaire, self-efficacy scale and professional tendency scale. The data are analyzing in the ways of T-test of independent sampler, analysis of variance, correlation analysis and regression analysis. The main research conclusions are as follows:First, the career planning has differences on grades, and has no significant differences on gender, whether for one-child and household income.Second, professional tendency has significant differences on major and gender. Boys tend to choose the actual type and research type, while girls tend to take the conventional type. The science students'scores of the actual type and research type are higher than the arts students, but the arts students'scores of conventional type is higher than the science students.Third, college students'career planning and the two dimensions which are career goal setting and career decision has a significant correlation with self-efficacy. Professional tendency of art type and social type have significant correlation with career planning.Fourth, self-efficacy, professional tendency of art type and social type can be effectively predicted college students' career planning level.
