To Strengthen the cultivation of students ’ thinking ability in history teaching in high school is to meet the requirements of college entrance exam and, more importantly,to meetthe objective requirements of the development of students ’ thinking. It can also meet the teaching requirements, and helps to train the person with independent thinking ability andhelps them to adapt to the the development of our society.In this article, the author expresses some ideas about the necessity and ways of history thinking ability training and lists some specific problems in history teaching. for example, to select appropriate teaching methods to encourage students to train the thinking ability through the historical phenomena; to design teaching plans carefully, study the teaching materials, combine different effective teaching methods and rearrange the teaching content according to theTest syllabus.By settingquestion situation and hold class discussion, consider different points of view of the students, give questions in different levels, develop students ’ thinking ability in history into theirown teaching ideas, and ultimately promote t history teaching and achieve the ultimate goal of history education.
