China has always pay great attention to cultivation of students’character and morals. There is an old saying goes:Have both ability and political integrity is the first rate, and have political integrity and no ability is second rate, and have no ability and no political integrity is useless, and have ability and no political integrity is kind of dangerous person. That is to say, political integrity is the most important thing for a person.Compulsory education in China also focuses on cultivating students’ morality. Since the beginning of moral education, China reform this class for many times to adapt to the social development and to follow the law of children’s physical and mental development. The curriculum contents is more detailed, and closer to students’practical life, and stronger in practicality and operability, and make an explanation in the discrimination of middle and senior high school teaching content in the outline of basic education curriculum in2011. This new change makes a much higher request to the teachers’teaching ability in moral education. This research mainly focuses on the questions of whether the current teaching ability can achieve the request of new curriculum, what factor will influence the development of teachers’ teaching ability, and what can improve the teaching ability. So, this thesis take three primary schools in Xincheng district in Hohhot as research subjects, and investigate the current situation of teachers’teaching ability in moral education through the methods of questionnaire and random interview. Then summarize the problems and influence factors of teaching ability in moral education class in primary schools based on the data. And meanwhile, the researcher will give some suggestions to improve the current situation of moral education class on the problems.This thesis mainly consists of six parts:The first part mainly introduces the background information of this research, and the main researches of Chinese moral education class, and literature review of teachers’teaching ability at home and abroad. And also illustrate the research significance and research methods. The purpose of this part is to make a theoretical foundation for further study.The second part mainly defines some core concepts. Including teachers’ teaching ability, the formation of teaching ability and illustration of connotation and character of moral education class in primary school. The purpose of this part is to provide a framework of the analysis of teachers’ teaching ability, and also provide a reference of countermeasure in the following passage. The third part mainly describe and analyses the current situation of teachers’teaching ability of moral education class in primary school. Through the data analysis of investigation, the researcher summarize basic information of teachers’teaching ability of moral education in primary school.The fourth part will make a particular illustration of the main problem of teachers’teaching ability of moral education class in primary school. According to the survey data analysis, we can find that the resources of outstanding teacher is relatively lacking at present. And also there are five problems of teachers’teaching ability, including insufficient in design ability, poor grasp ability of overall classroom, evaluation methods are too single, and not enough teaching reflection.The fifth part mainly analyze the influential factors of teachers’teaching ability. We can find though questionary and randomly interview that except the objective factors of teaching experience, the national education policy, social attention, and the subjective factor of teachers’self-development consciousness is also included.The sixth part mainly present some suggestions based on the above research from three aspects of teachers themselves, school and society.
