In the wave of the new curriculum reform, how to choose the modelof student evaluation and implementation is a growing concern inteaching. Practice has proved that using an appropriate student evaluationmodel would help to stimulate student interest, to promote studentlearning, and thus to improve the quality of teaching. Currently, theevaluation system of college students there are still some imperfections:Firstly, the students themselves did not participate in the evaluation thatno self-evaluation is only to be evaluated, which led to student learningenthusiasm is not high, difficult to cultivate students’ ability ofautonomous learning; Secondly, the phenomenon of “measure equivalentto the evaluation” is more serious in the student evaluation, ignoring thestudents learning process evaluation, the results are not enough objective;Thirdly, in the assessment of student learning outcomes, the traditionalevaluation methods using the average of final grade to test the effect ofteachers teaching and students learning. Such evaluation ignoresindividual differences of students, using merely test scores to decide theevaluation method of student learning effect is not enough scientific.In response to these problems, this paper would combine an exampleof “High School Information Technology and Experimental Teaching Research”, using developmental student evaluation model and Markovchain mathematical model in this course. As the “experimental teachingresearch” course is a computer science and technology professionalcompulsory, has a relatively strong practicality. Students need to beteacher’s identity to self-design experiment in the classroom and in thestudent’s identity to do experiment. If using the traditional evaluationmethods, the true level of the students is difficult to react. Only bydeveloping the vision, full consider the individual differences of studentsand the learning process performance to evaluate student learningobjectively and impartially. For this in the experimental teaching “HighSchool Information Technology and Experimental Teaching Research”using the assessment blueprint for the developmental student evaluation,to promote student autonomic learning, to stimulate students’ interest inlearning, At the same time, lead to Markov chain mathematical model inthe analysis of learning effect, compared to student results, build thetransfer matrix, calculate the extent of the transfer matrix shift, indicatingthe progress of student learning.The main content of the first three chapters are: developmentalstudent evaluation’s related concepts, the overview of Markov chain,research status at home and abroad and background study, using literatureresearch and comparative analysis methods. The fourth chapter detailedelaborates on the developmental student evaluation of experimental teaching design and implementation in experimental teaching, usingaction research method. The fifth chapter is the analysis of experimentaldata, by the mathematical statistics method, using Markov chainmodeling idea makes quantitative analysis and using MATLAB toolwould be to achieved it; get results’ transfer matrix on student twoexperiments, advance matrix and students learning efficiency degree ofexpectations. Using interviews and questionnaire survey makesqualitative analysis for student learning effect. The sixth chapter presentsconclusions and research problems in this study.Through the use of developmental student evaluation and Markovchain mathematical model in the “High School Information Technologyand Experimental Teaching Research” course in practical researchshowed that: the developmental student evaluation is help students toclear learning objectives, stimulate students’ interest in learning, improvestudent self-learning ability, and enhance the student learning process ofevaluation; At the same time using the Markov chain model, by transfermatrix to analyze the situation of students learning progress. Whilefurther teaching of teachers, provide guidance feasibility. The research onthe reform of teaching evaluation methods for future has somesuggestions.
