In twenty-first Century, the world will become more and more globalization; allcountries will be more closely linked. Education is a worldwide common topic amongcountries, learn from each other, and learn from each other. A core of modern scienceeducation reform is to improve the scientific literacy of students. The improvement ofscientific literacy is not only the pursuit of scientific facts and informationaccumulation and possession, but requires deep understanding of the core conceptsand ideas.Teaching of new geography curriculum teaching of geography concept veryseriously, no longer requires the students scattered memory and understanding ofsome isolated geographical facts and geographical concept. Based on this, this paper makes research on the "high schoolgeography curriculum focal points", it is expected that the study can be set as the highschool geography curriculum, provide some theoretical guidance and choose to focuson the course content.This research mainly includes four parts: the first part describes the relatedconcept of curriculum focus, the research status at home and abroad as well as theresearch content and significance; the second part introduces the theoreticalbasis of curriculum focal points, including the construction of theory, Bruner Piaget’scognitive structure and cognitive assimilation theory, Ausubel’s theory; the third partanalyses the necessity the establishment of high school geography curriculum focus;choose fourth parts according to the foreign curriculum focal points, combinedwith the and steps of high school geography curriculum focus of carding, and attemptsto find out the focal point of the high school geography curriculum.
