The teaching of classical Chinese has not only always been the emphasis and difficulty ofChinese teaching in high school,but also the focus of many concerned parties.Research on thetextbooks-election and arrangement has been ignored.Since the twenty-firstCentury,educational reforms have been taking place in both the mainland and Taiwan. Forexample,a significant change is that the writings in classical style lay out in the number andthe overall proportion are showing arising trend, and this change also shows that the Chineseancient literature study draws attention in the mainland and Taiwan.In this thesis,the authorattempts to make a comparative analysis of the two textbooks in classical stylelayout,especially on the two textbooks’ classical selection intention,quantity andproportion,selection of value choice to provide a reference for Chinese textbooks in themainland and improve the scientific high textbook compilation.
