Purpose: The study aimed to monitor the training load (intensity and volume) andthe variation ofphysiological state over all winter training of male rowers;Through exploring the rationality of training structure, analyzing the relationship of thetraining load (intensity and volume) andphysiological state, exploring the relationship of special aerobic capacity and periodic training load(intensity andvolume),summarize the features of elite athletes physiologica changes and servingas the practical base for male rowers’ scientific development. The subjects and methods of the research:14elite rowers volunteered toparticipate in this study,including4national level athletes. The all winter trainingwas divided into three phases, each phase included four weeks(3weeks fortraining,1week for adjustment). Systematic monitoring thetraining load (intensityand volume) and the variation ofphysiological state over all winter training and analyze it with stage testing results. The errohemoglobin(Hg)、 white blood cell(WBC)、 ereatine kinase(CK) and the blood urea(BU) were measured on each Monday. The serum testosterone(T),serum cortisol(C),Multistage dynamometer loadtest were on the third week of each phase.HR and BLA were tested in eachimportant training class. The results:1. The training load volume of training weeks was200Km at least;Medium and low intensity aerobic endurance training time decreased; The time of the second phase in medium‐high intensity aerobic endurance training was minimum, however, the anaerobic endurance training time of the second phase were maximun; The time of power training increased.2. Hg、 WBC、 CK、 BU didn’t have significant difference in training weeks, while through adjustment week, those indicators descended.3. T/C appeared the change of rise‐descend‐rise again in three phases;Compaired with the first phase,T/C in second phase had significant decreased.4. The special aerobic capacity appeared the change of rise‐descend‐rise again in three phases.Conclusions:1. The structure of the training load (intensity and volume) was rational in the firstand third phases, while the training load (intensity and volume) in the secondphase was so high that athletes didn’t adapt; Medium and high intensity aerobic endurance training should be chosed for winter training, otherwise different training mode shouldn’t be ignored;Training volume of each week in training weeks should be greater than200Km.2. From training weeks to adjustment weeks in each phase, the training load descended and the physiological state of athletes improved, minewhile, the physiological state appeared the change of rise‐descend‐rise again in three phases. 3. The special aerobic capacity improved through three phases’training, which means the purpose of winter training was achieved, furthermore laiding a solid foundation for the good grades of the next national games.
