Laboratory plays a significant role in the development of modern science and society. With the development of information technology, especially the big data, cloud computing, mobile internet, and internet of things, rapid changes appear in experimental techniques and methods, and revolutionary changes also take place in the thought, principle, and method of laboratory construction. The rapid development of virtual laboratory best illustrates all of these changes.Concerning the goals and tasks of the cultivation of economic management professionals in institutions of higher learning, this paper explores a new model of using the experimental teaching reform as a breakthrough to promote the reform of cultivation system construction of economic management professionals considering the current situation. Centering on the central task of cultivation mode system construction of economic management professionals, and targeting at improving the practical and innovative abilities of students, the paper involves perfecting experiment model, innovating experiment method, and extending experiment level.On the basis of theoretical research and experience summary related to virtual laboratory, this paper makes deep analysis on the digitalized characteristics of economic and management laboratory and studies the theory system and application structure of economic and management virtual laboratory construction to find technical proposals suitable for economic and management virtual laboratory. In addition, this paper illustrates the founding ideas, methods and measures of the virtual laboratory from the aspects of the virtualization of experimental environment, resource, content, data, and process, and improves the construction system of economic and management virtual laboratory.This paper explores the benefit evaluation system of virtual laboratory construction, and indicates a direction of virtual laboratory construction of economic management from the perspective of evaluation by using modern evaluation theory, contacting the actual situation of virtual laboratory construction, improving the benefit evaluation index system and evaluation standard of virtual laboratory construction of economic and management, building evaluation organization and advancing evaluation process,.In the conclusion part, this paper emphasizes the positive impact of reforming the mode of cultivating economic and management professionals on virtual laboratory, it anticipates the connotative development of economic and management virtual laboratory.
