This paper“The effect of physical exercise on Chang chun psychological mood ofuniversity and college students in Chang chun city”is based on a research.The research iscarried out by means of using college students as the research objects in the universitiesin Chang chun city.The research adopts literature interview,question nairesurvey,mathematical statistics and logic analysis and other research methods.By using “Generalsituation questionnaire of Chang chun college students’physical exercise”the paperclassifies students who has participated in the physical exercise into two categoriesincluding the students who often take part in the exercise and who seldom join them;andgirls who often participate in the physical exercise are divided into two categoriesaccording to two different kinds of sports events---physical skill and therhythmicity.Boys were divided into the type of power and the type of speed in the sameway.The research uses Beck depression inventory and state-trait anxiety inventory tomake a psychological evaluation of the current situation of depression and anxiety ofcollege students in colleges and universities in Chang chun.It also compares andanalyzes the characteristics of the anxiety and depression of Chang chun college studentswho often take part in exercise and who do not.The research compares the factors thataffect the depression and anxiety of Chang chun colleges and universities’students at thesame time.Then it studies the different types of physical exercise’s different effects oncollege students’emotions.It provides the scientific data for encouraging students toparticipate in the physical exercise more often and helping them to have a goodmood.The good emotion could promote mental health.Meanwhile,the research alsoprovides the reference for the diversified sports education method and scientificapplication of the content in Chang chun universities.It comes to a conclusion:The malestudents who often take part in physical exercise are in a constant level of depressionand anxiety,and those who do not often take part in exercise showes a tendency of milddepression.The students who had a mild depression also had a higher level of thestate-trait anxiety inventory.The research showed that regular physical exercise makescontribution to preventing the college students’depression and anxiety.
