In the past10-20years, by improving the training methods, tennis players’ bodybecome more robust, their movement more agile,their skill more comprehensive,their psychological mind more mature, their tennis skill and tactic morecomprehensive and rapidly developed. But the increase of a tennis player’s injuries intraining and competition sports appears sharp, and improving the training intensityand competition become increasingly injurious and dangerous to a player. The teenagetennis players are reserve forces of China’s tennis career and the hope of our futuretennis sports. The sports injuries will destroy the sports training and affect thelong-term development of the teenage tennis players. Avoiding the sports injuries hasbecome a key factor for can promote the teenage players’ training quality, improvetheir performance in the race and guarantee their competitive ability to be developedsustainably.In this paper, some of the teenage tennis players and coaches were investigatedin China by the method of literature, the expert interviews, the questionnaire survey,the mathematical statistics and the logical analysis. Based on the survey results, weanalyzed the players’ injury characteristics and causes, generalized the common injuryand present some corresponding preventive measures from the perspective of training.The conclusions can be drawn:1. The teenage tennis players’ sports injuries are common, mainly in the knee,the elbow joint, the waist, the wrist and the shoulder joint. The injury types mainlyinclude the joint injury, the muscle injury and the ligament injury. According to thedegree and duration of injury there are the mild injury and the acute injury. During thetennis technical training, the number of the injured players is large. In summer andwinter, the sports injury probability is greater.2. The teenage tennis players’ sports injuries are caused by their non-standardizedactions, insufficient muscular strength and preparation, lack of focus, large trainingload, physical fatigue, local burden, lack of flexibility as well as lack ofself-protection awareness and ability.3. The main measures to prevent the teenage tennis players’ sports injuriesinclude the scientific training, the reasonable arrangement of sports load. We shouldfocus on strengthening the quality training of the vulnerable part, improving thetraining and the preparation before the games, strengthening the special technicaltraining, correcting and standardizing the technical actions, and promoting theplayers’ attention in the training and in the race.
