| The reason for choosing family education as a topic of this research is that it is a rare phenomenon in Russia. This topic is barely touched upon by other scholars and researches, so it makes family education a good research object.This is an objective research on problems and strategies of family education as a part of homeschooling in Russia. The research covered several regions of Russia and is focused on the group of students. The research is targeted at the current state of the family education in Russia, the problems parent, who chose family education usually face and suggestions found to these problems.The purpose of this paper is to discuss the problems of family education as part of home schooling in Russia, define possible suggestions these problems.Interview is used as a major source of collecting data for this research. It was sent by e-mail to all parents and students involved in the research which is based on the responses received. Technically it is an anonymous survey on families which chose family education as the best way to educate a child.In comparison to the western family education, basically, Russian one is developing into the organic, structurally organized and functional homeschooling system.In conclusion, it is found that this form of education is quite unpopular in the Russian Federation. Family education is constantly evolving in the world of education, but unfortunately family education in Russia cannot catch up with it. The main reason for unpopularity of family education in Russia is that public school education prevails in this country and all attention is drawn to it, nevertheless family education is far to be understood and widely integrated into the public school education system. |
