In recent years, with the developing of the relationship between China and Thailand, the Chinese teaching in Thailand develops fast as well. Because foreign Chinese teaching has just developed for a few years, there are still some deficiencies in the study of it. The research on influence of gender difference of students’Chinese study is one of them. The gender difference is an important part of students’Chinese study in Thailand. It will really work when teaching method adjusted according to different features of boys and girls. This thesis, based on the research of gender difference in other languages, make a research about the manifestation, features, causes and countermeasures of the gender difference of students’Chinese study in Thailand. This thesis is divided into five parts:The first part is the introduction that introduces the purpose of this thesis, research status, content and method.The second part is about many kinds of surveys related to gender difference of Thailand middle school students’Chinese study. This thesis takes464students from grade one and grade two in middle school as respondents. The purpose of the surveys is to find out that whether the gender difference of Thailand middle school students’Chinese study exists or not. The survey results show that the difference exists. Overall, the behavior in Chinese class and the Chinese score of girls are better than that of boys.The third part is about the manifestation and feature of the gender difference of middle school students’Chinese study in Thailand. This part is the summary and analysis of last part. The manifestation is composed by four parts: learning objectives difference, interest difference, knowledge easy to absorb difference and behavior in class and after class difference. Meanwhile, the feature of the gender difference is it grows as time goes on in one semester.The fourth part is an analysis of the causes of gender difference of Thailand middle school students’Chinese study. The three main causes are physiological effect, psychological effect (intelligent or non-intelligent) and environmental effect (social effect, school effect and family effect). The interactions of these facts cause the gender difference of Thailand middle school students’Chinese study.The fifth part is the countermeasures of the gender difference of middle school students’Chinese study in Thailand. Three countermeasures (Setting up the correct understanding of gender difference, system reform and some specific teaching strategies) work together to solve this problem.
