the subject of physics requires students to own strong ability ofobserving, quick thinking, reading, language competence, operating experiments, mathematical logic, analyzing and solving problems. It’s a comprehensive subject. Inorder to make students study the basic physics knowledge and master the basic physicsskills, at the same time, to make students know the use of the physics knowledge andskills in life and production, and to make students pay close attention to the trends ofscience and technology, schools offer the physics course. In the study of physics, thereis no significant difference in achievement of boys and girls who are in junior highschool, but in the senior high school, there is some difference between boys and girls inrecords of physics, and the older, the greater the gap. The boys and girls not only havedifferent records in studying the course of physics, but also have their own strengths andweaknesses. That is a problem we cannot afford to ignore. Therefore, it is valuable tostudy the gender difference in the physics learning for realizing the aim of qualityeducation for all students and comprehensive development of each student. The paper includes five parts:Part one, the literature review. It’s the research status of the difference betweenboys and girls in the study of physics. In view of these studies, the author comes up withthe significance and innovation of this research.Part two, the theoretical basis. The author discusses the characteristics of physicsand the features of physics textbook about junior and senior high school; it also containsthe psychology and study method of the boys and girls in study physics, andcharacteristics of male and female’s thinking way; and then, the author introduces thetheory of gender difference in the role of the physiological scientists, cognitivedevelopmental psychology scientists, psychoanalytic theory scientists and sociallearning theory scientists to discuss the differences expression of boys and girls.Part three, the practice research. The author sorts out the result about theinvestigation of physics study of junior and senior students, which can be the realisticbasis for finding the reason why girls have some differences in physics study. Part four, the causes and strategies. The author analyzes the reasons of the boys andgirls have different expressions in study of physics from junior middle school to seniorhigh school by the results of questionnaire. It’s form the factors of intelligence andnon-intelligence, and include the family, school and society which consists of the factorsof environment. The intelligence factor includes sensory perception, memory, attention, trait of thinking, the way of thinking and operating skill. The non-intelligence factorincludes hobbies, interests, and traits of character, and environment of family, schooland society. According to these factors, the author formulates targeted teachingstrategies to decrease the sex different in physics study.Part five, the conclusions. This part is summarizing the paper in various aspects. The author presents the paper’s innovation again, meanwhile, the author also points outthe paper’s weakness and the outlook of the future work.In consideration of this adjustment, the author not only emphasizes the importanceof the connection and migration of knowledge between junior middle school and seniorhigh school about the course of physics, but also claims that this measure is helpful totraining the girls’ ability of thinking. This point is the innovation of the paper. Realizingthe migration and connection of knowledge between junior middle school and seniorhigh school about the course of physics is not the responsibility of the teachers whoteach students only in junior middle school or senior high school. It’s necessary for allof the teachers to attach importance to sex difference in process of physics teaching. However, it can’t remove the difference between the boys and girls in physics studyradically; this difference can be decreased by the efforts of the teachers, parents and thesociety. The standards of the boys and girls’ physics study can be increased all at once, and the instructional objectives can come true.
