Math teachers in middle schools hold a general idea that there are gender difference in math learning of middle school students. However, as to the causes,the conditions and the countermeasures of gender difference, no common recognition has been formed and no tested materials can be referred to. In order to teach the students according to their different genders and let them develop and make progress together, the author starts with a county to investigate the condition of gender difference and to analyze the reason gender difference. Thus, the perceptual knowledge is raised to the level of rational knowledge.The author takes the middle school students in Tongwei county as objects of study. By using the methods of answering questionnaires, talking with students, comparing and analyzing the statistics of scores, the author compared and studied over 900 junior and senior score lists.The results of study showed that there are gender difference in math learning of the students in Tongwei Middle School, Which mainly exists in the following aspects: first, physiological difference in heredity and division of the functions of brain; second, the intellectual difference in the way of memory and thinking; third, the prejudice and unfairness against girl students in educational aspects and surroundings.According to gender difference in math learning of middle school students, the improving measures of learning from others' strong points to offset one's own weakness mainly covers: first, either teachers of students should properly understand the gender difference; second, to widen girl students' spatial imagination; third, to develop girl students' memory through understanding and in image; forth, to strengthen girl students' training of logical thinking; fifth, to improve girl students' emotion quotient.
