| The scholarship assessment and issuing for the international students coming to study in China, which is an important part of the international students’management in colleges and universities, and which is an important measure for Chinese government and universities to attract, encourage and recognize the outstanding international students. To research about the system settings, publicity, assessment standard, issuing process and implementation effect of the scholarship project for international students coming to study in China, is helpful to optimize current management of its, but also help colleges and universities to improve the teaching and management level for international students, so it is of great significance.In this paper, according to analysis on the current situation of the international student scholarship project, then design the questionnaire and interview outline, organization to carry out the questionnaire survey and interview, statistical analysis of the result. Summed up the main problems existing in the management of the scholarship project for international students:1) System settings and publicity, in which publicity is insufficient, inadequate.(2) Assessment standards, in which there are different criteria, and the process is not real specification to be offered.(3) Issuing program, in which the procedure is unclear, and the issuing is often delayed.(4) Implementation effect, in which the orientation is unclear, and the impact is not enough.In this paper, some countermeasures are put forward based on the investigation of the problems.(1) Strengthen publicity, optimizing the setting of the system, for which to further guarantee the scholarship.(2) Optimizing the scholarship review process, for which to make the scholarship review more normative, and make a better way to supervisory and control, and more public.(3) Optimizing the use of scholarship and tracking survey, for which to give better play to the functions of scholarship. |
