In2011, the ministry of education published a new biology curriculum standardof the compulsory education stage----the compulsory education of biology curriculumstandard (2011edition). In this standard, It puts forward some new ideas, one of themost obvious change is to mastery important concepts, so the biology conceptteaching increased to unprecedented height. Attaches great importance to the biologyconcept teaching is an important means to improve the level of biological teaching, atthe same time, strengthening the biology concept teaching skills is the inevitablerequirement of deepening the reform of biology teaching.In order to effectively improve the quality of current biology concept teaching,the author researches on this project. In this study, first of all the author collects alarge amount of materials to understand the research status of high school biologyconcept teaching, through the way such as books, periodicals, network and so on. Inorder to close to the actual, make the research more targeted, the author takes the partof the three high school teachers of Laixi of Qingdao city as sample. According to thesurvey, the author analyzes the problems existing in these high school biology conceptteaching and its causes. In order to solve these problems, the author puts forward thecountermeasures as follows: strengthening theoretical study of the concept teaching;improving the effectiveness and novelty of the concept import phase; choosing theappropriate teaching methods of concept teaching; establishing the scientific andcomplete system of concept.
