Marxist theory on the comprehensive development is the theoretical basis to establish China’s education determination. Humanistic quality that our country vigorously promotes in universities is based on the need for comprehensive development of human and social development. Since the last century, our country promotes the education policy of "education to the needs of the world and the future, for modernization". Especially the rapid development of China’s economy in current time, technology is changing rapidly, College graduates rely on traditional culture education model cannot meet the needs of modern society’s competition, Public appeal to Humanities Education of the comprehensive development in colleges.Since the1990s, China’s colleges and universities began to implement humanistic quality education, now there has formed a considerable scale and rich humanistic quality education base and experience, and the education system and teaching form of Humanistic Education in college has an initial improvement. While getting gratifying achievements, we also can’t ignore the exists of so many problems in the process of university humanities quality education. Objective and comprehensive analysis of today’s college of humanities and education problems and propose practical ways to solve it provide necessary theoretical and practical reference for healthy development of humanistic education colleges.This paper is divided into five parts:introduction, theoretical connotation of humanistic education, status of humanistic quality in higher education and the reasons for precipitation, approaches of humanistic education and conclusion.The introduction describes the general educational background and significance of today’s college of humanities and quality, it gives a brief overview of the research results of today’s college of humanities and education and research methods and thinking used in this paper, it outlines the basic structure of this writing. The first section provides a brief overview of the connotation of humanistic quality education. It compares humanities education between western and China’s universities and shows inadequacies of humanistic quality education in our country. In this paper, it uses Harvard model and Yale model as an example due to the more mature quality of higher education in the humanities, finally summers revelation to us of Humanistic Education in Europe and America, finds inadequacies of Humanistic Quality Education, and gets a conclusion that there is necessary to develop Humanistic Education. The second section provides a brief overview of the status of today’s colleges and universities as well as the reasons for humanistic education, and gets inspiration by comparing China with western countries in the first part, generally describes problem in several ways such as teaching courses, social practice, community activities, and campus cultural environment, etc, and deeply analyze the causes of this problem. The third part puts forward to give the way to solve the problem described in the second part and suggestions to the development of the college of humanities and education in the future. Conclusion gives a further overview and summary of the importance to develop quality education in the humanities in colleges.
