Literature education is an important part of Chinese language teaching insecondary vocational schools, it is for the purpose of education, and based onliterature essence. In terms of Chinese curriculum, the implementation of the literatureeducation has most closely relationship with reading teaching. The literature views ofreception aesthetics theory is a new understanding of literature, especially a newdiscovery to readers. It can provide strong theoretical support for literary education,making it explore the effective ways to literature education.The new curriculum reform emphasizes to respect the principle position of thestudents, that is, respecting the principal position of students readers in readingteaching. This accords with the opinion mentioned in the theory of receptionaesthetics, which emphasizes the reader’s main body status in reading. It is the mainreason why the theory of reception aesthetics is welcomed by lots of researchers ofChinese reading teaching. But because of some problems existing in the process ofunderstanding and accepting the aesthetics theory, as a result, in secondary vocationalschools, the application of the theory of reception aesthetics in literature readingteaching is not as optimistic as respected in academic research.This paper aims to explore the problems and corresponding solution strategiesunder the care of reception aesthetics theory in the process of literature readingteaching in the secondary vocational schools. This thesis includes four chapters.The first chapter,"secondary vocational education and literature education",reveals the connotation of the secondary vocational education and its differences withordinary high school education, meanwhile discusses the importance of literatureeducation in secondary vocational schools.The second chapter,“Under the background of reception aesthetics, thedevelopment of literature education in secondary vocational schools ", focuses on the interpretation of how the reception aesthetics theory applied to different subjects ofactivities in literature reading teaching in the secondary vocational schools, and thendiscusses the revolutions happening in the teaching of literature reading guided by thistheory in secondary vocational schools.The third chapter," the lost of literature education in secondary vocationalschools under the background of reception aesthetics ", aims to seek the root of thelost of literature education in the secondary vocational schools, based onquestionnaires on the situation of reading under the guidance of reception aesthetics inthe secondary vocational schools.The fourth chapter,"the reconstruction of literature education under thebackground of reception aesthetics in secondary vocational schools ", is to explore theapplication of reception aesthetics theory in literature education in secondaryvocational schools, in the premise of finding its root of lost, expecting the teacherscan use this theory better and more targeted in the process of teaching of literaturereading.
