Principals in Secondary vocational schools play a very important role in s chool, the specific performance are their influence on the implementation of po licies related to education, to ensure the normal operation of the school, concis e the characteristics in school development, build the reputation of school and so on. The quality of the principals especially the leadership have a strong im pact on all the aspects of the school work. In contrast of the importance of pr incipals’leadership, related theory researches is still relatively scare, that cause d the lack of basic theoretical support and empirical material needed in the en hancement of principals’leadership. Based on this, this paper research the lead ership of principals in middle vocational schools on case study by using an an thropological perspective. Researcher strive to reducion the picture of principals’ leadership practice through long-term intensive observation and analysis. Then analyze the problems and both inner and external influence factors, finally put forward pertinence suggestions.In this paper,the theoretical basis is the five forces model of principals’le adership proposed by T.J.Sergiovanni,specially classified as technial,human,educa tional,symbolic and cultural leadership.According to the researcher’s observation s,interviews,field surveys of pricipal D,the conclusion is he has his own advan tages and disadvantages in the five dimensions, the specific performance is:On the technical leadership,school organization is reasonable and the implemantion of system need to be strengthened.On the human leadership,he attaches importa nce to the integration of resources and teachers’incentives need to be improv ed.On the educational leadership,his curriculum leadership is efficient and instru ctional leadership need to be improved.On the symbolic leadership,his vision of school development is clear and the capacity of inspire need to be enhanced. On the cultural leadership,the construction of campus culture is comprehensive and the degree of in-depth need to be improved. According to the situation, re searcher analyze the influence factors at the micro level and marco level at fir st, the analyze on macro level mainly from nantional policies and vocational tr aining,the analyze on micro level mainly from educational philosophy, leadershi p style, personal accomplishment. According to this, researcher proposed the re commendations to enhance the vacational principals’ leadership. First, the state need to improve the effectiveness of education policies and promote vocationa1school principals autonomy development. Then carry out various forms of pri ncipal training to enhance the effectiveness of principals’vocational training.Th e nation also need to complete principals evaluate institutional mechanisms. Sec ondly, the principal need to emphasis on individual autonomy learning to impro ve ideological and theoretical level. Then they need to strengthen self-managem ent, viewing their leadership practices. They need to promote teamwork to imp rove their own leadership. According to an effective combination of favorable e xternal environment and principals’ autonomy development to improve the princ ipals’ leadership and the development of vocational education.
