Nowadays, with the rapid development of information technology and the surgingtransformation of educational ideas and concepts, education starts to switch from the old“teaching-oriented” mode to the new “learning-oriented” mode. Therefore, people generatenew demands on education environment and mode, and thus the concept of interactive mediaand flipped classroom emerged from this background. Meanwhile, the perfect combination ofinteractive media and flipped classroom brings world-shaking changes to the education circle.Taking “Research on the Mode of Flipped Classroom Teaching Supported by InteractiveMedia” as the theme, this paper constructed the model for the integrated interactive mediaenvironment applied in the teaching activities in flipped classroom mode, and further studiedthe teaching design model for flipped class in interactive media environment to expound theapproaches for constructing flipped classroom teaching environment by interactive media?What changes will the integration of interactive media and flipped class teaching modes bringto teaching process? How to adopt flipped classroom teaching mode in interactive mediateaching environment so as to better serve the entire teaching process?This paper taking activity theory and constructivism as the theoretical bases of research,combining the needs for the development of information technology and the inspiration ofactivity theory and constructivism in the interactive media application in teaching, this paperdefined and interpreted flipped class teaching mode in interactive media environment. Thispaper explored the characteristics and the basic elements of flipped classroom teachinginteraction supported by interactive media and constructed a process model of the teachingmode design of flipped classroom supported by interactive media environment. According tothe requirements of flipped classroom teaching, this paper designed the learning activitydecision-making supporting system and provided necessary technical support for flippedclassroom teaching supported by interactive media. Through instructional design and in-depthanalysis of flipped classroom teaching of the document retrieval course, this paper showed theall-round basic process and summative evaluation of the flipped classroom teaching supportedby interactive media environment, which has provided a reference for “Research on the Modeof Flipped Classroom Teaching Supported by Interactive Media”. Finally this study putsforward the deficiencies, providing feasible suggestions for future improvements and better development.
