The educational evaluation research in new century are shining brightly just as sparkling stars dose,especially in the past decades, with the educational reformation proceeding, research on educationalevaluation gained significant achievement both in landscape orientation and longitudinal orientation, butmeanwhile shortcomings existed. Nowadays, what is the specific current situation of the research anddevelopment on domestic educational evaluation? How to be acquainted with the intellectual structure ofeducational evaluation? And how to detect the trends of educational evaluation’s development? Thesetopics are vital. Therefore, this thesis proposes to analysis the evolution of educational evaluation in recentfifteen years, which based on the both need of educational evaluation’s development and meta-research oneducational evaluation.Recently, technology of information visualization and mapping knowledge that are thriving inscientometrics are now constantly being used in different domains, which also brings a new vision to theresearch on educational evaluation. Based on the reference data of educational evaluation which rangesfrom1998to2012in CSSCI, then by using CiteSpace software and reading the scientific knowledgedomain mappings and relevant files, this thesis mainly used co-citation theories, graph theory andinformation visualization to summarize the basic situation of educational evaluation’s research in recentfifteen years. Following work were finished in this thesis:Firstly, through literature statistics, this thesis summarizes the whole situation of domestic educationalevaluation’s research in recent years. The research on educational evaluation has been in steady increase: one is the fast increasing period between1998and2008, the other is the steady development period in fiveyears, which also could be considered as "still waters run deeply" time.Secondly, by journal co-citation analysis, the thesis got known that the research on educationalevaluation in recent years tended to cite journals within Pedagogy, which proved that development of theresearch on educational evaluation depended on Pedagogy’s own intellectual knowledge increasing. Beside,educational evaluation’s research interacted with Psychology, Management Science and EducationalTechnology frequently.Thirdly, get the key scholars in educational evaluation’s research to be confirmed by authorco-citation analysis. Chen Yukun, Zhong Qiquan, Wang Binhua, Shen Yushun, Wu Shulian, Pan Maoyuan,Wang Jisheng, Li Deshun are included. These scholars played vital roles in domestic educationalevaluation’s research in recent years.The fourth is to grasp the intellectual structure of educational evaluation’s research in past fifteenyears by reference co-citation. Nine monographs and four academic articles constitute the intellectualstructure.The fifth is making the hot research of educational evaluation clear: research on curriculum andinstruction becomed the principal line of domestic educational evaluation’s research, high education wasthe main area in where educational evaluation’s research paid a lot focus, emphasized the research onevaluation criteria and methods in order to accelerate the integration between theories and practice ofeducational evaluation, teachers and students were the important subject whom had much emphasis fromeducational evaluation’s research, U.S. was main nation from where domestic educational evaluation’sresearch obtained a lot examples. The sixth is getting the research trends of educational evaluation to be detected, five aspects areincluded: educational evaluation in pre-school is gaining in focus, the link between quantitative andqualitative within in educational evaluation’s research is getting more exploration, more and more advancedachievement of educational evaluation’s research in foreign countries will still be imported, informationtechnology will strongly support the innovation of educational evaluation’s research, teacher evaluationemphasizes the teacher’s quality much more.Lastly, based on the above analysis, the thesis summarizes the shortage existing in educationalevaluation’s research in past fifteen years, and then gives two research envision: enhance both the researchon educational evaluation’s system and fundamental theories.
