Biology is a science which studys life phenomenon and activity rules, and junior high school is the firstsystem of learning biology. But the traditional junior high school biology teaching put too much attentionon imparting basic knowledge and skills, ignoring the students’ life education. At present, there are a seriesof problems, because the young are short of life conception and basic respect or cherish for life, such asjuvenile crime and suicide rate gradually develop to younger age, so it is necessary and urgent to carry outlife education in the biology teaching in junior high school. At the same time, It is required by new standardof emotional target. In the teaching process, teachers let the students to understand the diversity of lifethrough a variety of ways, and strengthen the life education, guide students to understand life, cherish life,respect life. By using question survey, the question survey selects five different area but same teachingsituation school of Zhengzhou city as the object of investigation, and explores current situation of juniorhigh school life education in Zhengzhou city. By using of Zhengzhou city junior high school life educationpresent situation analysis, We find out the effective methods and ways of life education to carry on in theclassroom, serving as a reference for junior high school life education.Through a study about the present situation of junior high school life education in Zhengzhou city, We findout that teachers pay attention to improving of student achievement, thus ignoring the life education in theteaching. Teachers use a single method of teaching life education, and content of life education can’t keeppace with the times. Students face the death without correct understanding, and not value to life. Duringfacing with an emergency, the students are short of self-help and defense of the knowledge and skills, alsoeasy to take evasive attitude when facing difficulties. When the young people’s body changes, the studentsknow little about adolescent health and sexual knowledge, and easy to cause a pregnancy problems. In aword, through the questionnaire survey, we find that Zhengzhou city junior high school life educationsituation is not optimistic, should cause our attention.Finally, according to the current situation of life education in Zhengzhou city, I use two aspects forelaborated how to improve the current situation of life education from junior high school biology teachingmaterial and teaching method. In biological teaching ways, teachers can be combined with the teaching material of each part transfer knowledge to join life education, adolescent education, etc. From the analysison teaching methods, we can combine textbooks the chapter explain the advantages of various teachingmethods. In view of the situation of life education in Zhengzhou, I also put forward some own views. Lifeeducation can’t complete the work one time, so we need the school, family, social joint efforts together.Teachers should properly teach with the content of life education in class, let the students stay with cherishlife atmosphere all the way. Students form the values of life of taking care of others and love of life.
