Teachers’ pre-service training for new teacher role transformation, set up thecorrect education teaching thought, to better fulfill their duties of teaching jobs,improve the teaching quality of school education has important practical significance.University teachers’ pre-service training, as an important way of new teacherprofessional development, has become a national teacher training activities, is on alarge scale, high investment. It is controversial of the trainin g effectiveness. Somescholars reflected that the pre-service training is inefficient. The training effectivenessis crucial like this widely implemented nationwide, the national high investment andhigh teachers demand. The author understands the innovative practice of pre-servicetraining in colleges and universities in Jiangxi province, through empirical research,understands the present situation of the effectiveness of the new teachers’ pre-servicetraining in colleges and universities in Jiangxi, and explores the influencing factors ofpre-service training effectiveness, and improves the concrete means and methods ofthe new teachers’ pre-service training effectiveness.This research definite the connotation of pre-service training effectiveness, andsummarizes the basic characteristics of the effective training, that is effective learning,effective teaching, effective progress, effective management, and effective results.This study is based on teachers’ professional development theory and humanresources management theory, which applies the viewpoints of system to analyze themain factors influencing the pre-service training effectiveness and there is a self-madequestionnaire:“on the new teachers in colleges and universities in Jiangxi provincepre-service training effectiveness questionnaire”. The questionnaire is divided intothree parts: the new teacher’s basic situation; the pre-service training effectivenessquestionnaire; opinion survey. And we conducted the empirical research on thepre-service training of Jiangxi province in August2013. This study used descriptivestatistics, independent sample test, single factor variance analysis and related analysismethod of mathematical statistics to analyze research data processing. Findings showthat:1. Totally, the pre-service training is more effective on the trainees factor, thetrainer, training process and training effect.2. It’s a significant correlation amongvarious factors, and it establishes regression model about trainees, trainers andtraining process and training effect and has the causal relationship.3. There are someproblems of training management factor. It’s significant differences in age andeducation. Through data analysis and interview survey found that leadership attention,well-funded, sound system, high-quality teachers, reformation of the curriculum andtrainees’ actively participation is the main reason for the obtained good effect in thepre-service training in colleges and universities in Jiangxi province.Research shows that only sets up the concept of teacher development, through strengthen guidance to students, cultivate professional trainers, strengthen themonitoring of training process and management, constantly improve the way ofpre-service training effectiveness, strengthen the evaluation of training activities, wecan ensure the effectiveness of the new teachers’ pre-service training colleges anduniversities.
