Microblogging is the first shares on NASDAQ at April17,2014. Microblogging which has affectour living has accompanied us with5years. Microblogging brought a large amount of information to whomhanker for knowledge. Middle school students are in a period of physical and mentaldevelopment.Through the microblogging,we can observe the ideas and the behavior of the middle schoolstudents’ needs.At the same time, we can using microblogging to the teenager’s to form the correct globalview, philosophy of life and value.Microblogging brings a instant messaging Internet Storm. On the one hand, microblogging have awealth of information that students can obtain the necessary and innovating of middle school studentsideological and political education methods. On the other hand, the negative information hindered thestudents’ physical and mental development. The ideological and political education workers must seriouslyconsider how to draw on the advantages and avoid disadvantages, how effective will microblogging appliedto middle school students ideological and political education.According to the actual situation of middle school students’ physical and mental developmentanalysis, microblogging brought to the middle school ideological and political education opportunities andchallenges, puts forward the concrete countermeasures. The paper is composed of introduction, text,conclusion of three parts.The introduction part expounds the significance of the research objective, research at home andabroad, and the research method and the innovation points and shortcomings.The text is divided into three chapters.The first chapter mainly expounds the meaning, characteristics, status of developmentmicroblogging which is combined the characteristics of middle school students favored in the ideologicaland political education. From the theory, summarizes the microblogging has become the inevitable trend ofthe carrier of Ideological and political education.The second chapter mainly elaborates the microblogging for middle school students’ ideologicaland political education to bring opportunities and challenges. There is from four aspects to analysis. The third chapter mainly elaborated the middle school ideological and political education in theface of microblogging brings opportunity and challenge that the strategy research, mainly from the studentsthemselves, school and regulatory mechanism three aspects analyze the middle school ideological andpolitical education should take countermeasures.
