The rise and development of microblogging bring us into a new era of media -micro-era, microblogging have brought change to the public’s way of life, way of communication, learning methods and ways of thinking and other aspects. The management of ideological and political education of universities is an important work on the control of the related resources and processes. The manager of the related work is the leader of the ideological and political education of the whole university. In the face of the changing times, the should keep pace with the times and profoundly aware of what changes have been brought by microblogging to college students’ thoughts and values , as well as the opportunities and challenges.For the positive function of microblogging in the field of management of ideological and political education in universities, the managers should seize the opportunity, extend the scope of management to microblogging field,use microblogging as a mean to management, make the greatest efforts to play the function of microblogging into the management field. In this paper, the relationship between microblogging and the management of ideological and political education in universities has been sorted out and clarified. From different angles to explore Whether the function of microblogging in the management of ideological and political education in colleges and universities has been absent and the reason of absence, and make my suggestions about how to enhance the function of microblogging in the managementof ideological and political education. The full text consists of five parts:The first part is the basis of this study - the introduction, in this part, the author analysis the origin of the topic, the significance of the study, domestic and foreign research review, research ideas and methods and Innovation and other aspects of the elaboration, laid the tone for the full text of the research;The second part is about the definition and interpretation of the microblogging and the management of ideological and political education in universities, including the concept and characteristics of microblogging, the definition of management of ideological and political education in universities, and this paper makes a detailed comparison and distinction between the two aspects which are the management of the ideological and political education and ideological and political education in universities from subject, object and purpose.
