The development of compulsoryeducation can not only lay a solid foundation for the future development of individuallearning, but also can effectively reduce the national illiteracy rate, improve theoverall level of national culture quality, plays an important role in the economic andsocial development and national rejuvenation. Therefore, clarifying the allocation efficiency of China compulsory educationresources, to explore factors that influence the efficiency of resource allocation ofcompulsory education, to improve efficiency in the use of compulsory educationresources, promote the development of China’s compulsory education is vital.The purpose of this paper is to evaluate and analyze the efficiency of Chinacompulsory education resources allocation, to explore influencing factors of theefficiency of resource allocation of compulsory education. Firstly expounds the basictheory of the compulsory education, the allocation of educational resources, theallocation of compulsory education resources efficiency; then the descriptive analysisof the education resources input in China (financial resources, human resources,material resources) with the basic situation of the development of compulsoryeducation; then the data input and output from2001to2010based on DEA, usingTobit method, empirical analysis of the factors in primary and secondary resourcesallocation efficiency level and influence of China’s31provinces, autonomous regionsand municipalities directly under the central government; finally, according to theresults of empirical research and put forward the corresponding policyrecommendations. In the method, the comprehensiveutilization of the DEA method, factor analysis and tobit regression method to evaluatethe efficiency of the allocation of compulsory education resources in our country, andtries to find out the factors influencing the efficiency level.
