With the deepening of the New Course Reformation, teacherprofessional development has been widespread attention in Education.Inorder to expand reserves of the excellent educational talent, it is veryimportant for pre-service teacher training. At present,the majoruniversities mainly adopt microteaching for the teaching skills trainingof pre-service teacher, thereby enhancing the teaching ability ofpre-service teachers. Currently, microteaching has some problems,suchas feedback not timely, professional guidance teachers less, lack ofteaching resources,and so on. Most of the college is still withtraditional microteaching training mode which student is teaches inclass, teacher makes a comment over class, lacking mechanisms of teachingreflection. Also,the Education is in their efforts to seek theopportunity to break this bottleneck of teaching reflection, expectingsome help from tools or systems to promote teaching reflection ofpre-service teachers. Therefore, a suitable video annotation tool is infavored with many educator,and it becomes a hot research at home andabroad. With comprehensive study,it is found that there are differenttypes of foreign video annotation tools which with different functionalstrength. Meanwhile, such tools is rarely in our country now, only a fewwell-known universities are working on research and development.The purpose of this project is to design and develop a microteachingvideo annotation system(referred to as MAVS) based on Web. It is goingto achieve functions that student can be free to add video annotationand self-evaluation when watching microteaching videos, and that teacherscan add annotations of evaluation at any time when watchingmicroteaching video, and make a score for microteaching video afterwatching.Finally it can realize interactive reflection ofmicroteaching. The main research methods in the project of the study is literatureresearch, interviews and evaluation studies,and so on.The MVAS based on Web is mainly designed with three modules,includingthe administrator module,the student module, and the teacher module. Theadministrator module can realize main fratures such as systeminitialization, user permission settings, user information management,video and video annotation management,etc.The student module enablesstudents to add annotations with microteaching videos, realize logicslices, etc. In the teacher module,excepting adding annotations, realizelogic slices with microteaching videos,teachers are able to make a scorefor microteaching videos, providing evaluation and feedback for students.The MVAS based on Web uses the front technology with HTML5, combinedwith JSP and MySQL database, based on Tomcat development environment, andMyEclipse as the development tool, throught popular framework mode ofMVC,fast set up systems framework,in order to achieve in addingannotation, personalized logic slices and comments,etc.Currently,the basic structure of the system has been developed, andhas achieved the basic functions such as user adds annotations, user makeslogic slices, and teacher makes a score,and so on,and this system is inthe trial process. By interviewed with some users, the authorhad obtainedrelevant feedback information.And based on their recommendations, we havefurther improvement of the function of the system,and lay a goodfoundation for the further application and promotion of the system.
