With the further development of new curriculum reform, the new textbook is also carriedout a series of change. In the PEP, Hunan Education Press, Plate, Shandong version fourversion commonly used in geography textbooks, the design of the "activity" has appeared in acolumn, and "activity" content in the text the proportion of growing in the system.This combination of PEP compulsory3textbook "activities" program design "type,analysis and design features of activity", set up simple comparison of the four versions oftextbooks "activities", analysis of PEP compulsory3textbooks "activities" section of thedesign defects; and then through the investigation on the "active" column class teachingsituation, analysis of the causes of the problems and the status of teaching; finally to "activity"teaching design and proposed suggestions, combined with the optimization design of teachingcase type."Activities" column is arranged so that the text teaching more vivid, that geographyteaching more rich and colorful, can stimulate students’ interest in learning geography, goodeffect of the "activity" teaching design on students’ inquiry ability, creative thinking andgeographical comprehensive ability plays an important role in cultivating.
