A Study On The Policy Of Financial Support For Pirvate Universities Under The Theoretical View Of Marxist Theory Of Fairness And Justice

Private higher education is an important part of higher education system in our country, which assumes the responsibility belonging to the government. However, private capital in higher education is limited because of our current social situation. At the same time, it is difficult for private higher education to develop due to the imperfection of Chinese relevant laws and policies and inadequate support attributed by government. Domestic scholars have conducted a lot of researches about many issues, for instance, whether private universities should receive financial support from the government or not, and how the government subsidizes them.This text focus on the analysis of the legitimacy、necessity and feasibility of financial support for private universities on the basis of Marxist theory of fairness and justice、and the Classics of Marx and Engels, and tries to provide theoretical support and examples for the government through the analysis of the current situation of government’s support for private higher education.This thesis is divided into five parts, and the main part includes four chapters:The first chapter is the presentation of the production, development and Sinicization of Marxist theory of fairness and justice, and the embodiment of Marxist theory of fairness and justice in higher education. This part regards Marxist theory of fairness and justice as the starting point.The second chapter concentrates on the deep analysis of the status quo and existing problems of Chinese financial support for private universities, and find out the unfair policy during the development of private universities.The third chapter tries to analyze the relation between Marxist theory of fairness and justice and private universities financial support, focusing on answering the legitimacy and necessity of financial support for private universities.The fourth chapter gives some advice on the policy perfection of financial support for the development of private universities, gives a response in policy to the feasibility of financial support for private universities, and further enriches the policy research on the development of private universities.
