On the basis of a comprehensive domestic and international literature on the use ofquestionnaires, interviews, lessons learned and other research methods, from individualself-management classes in school affairs, and in the life of self-management, self-learningability, relationships and other aspects of the current development in Jiangxi Shanggao middleschool students self-management capabilities to investigate, discuss the current situation ofhigh school students self-management capabilities and problems, then the reason for theproblems were analyzed, and finally made suggestions to improve self-management in class.Survey questionnaire was randomly selected on nine classes, grade1、grade2、grade3.Theresults of the questionnaire survey conducted by SPSS16.0, the following conclusions:(1)students generally have low self-management skills, and girls are better than boys; Withascending grades, self-management capacity gradually increases;(2) the current of Shanggaoschool junior class practiced self-management model classes and practice the " autonomy,democracy, equality and cooperation." management philosophy. However, is unsatisfactory inthe class goals and classroom rules, most students think the teacher did not seek their views onthe attitude toward students, most students think the teacher ’s attitude is biased;(3) there wassignificant difference among the students of three grades in scores; boys, girls self-managementwishes there was no significant difference in scores; boys and girls autonomous participationscores were significantly different;(4) the current class self-management deficiencies are: themore traditional management philosophy of teacher, parents attitude for junior school studentsin self-management classes, and the current system of student evaluation imperfect. Thesefactors restricting the development of better self-management class.After the analysis of the underlying data, combined with the author engaged in a long-termpractice of teacher education, research proposals put forward these proposals:(1)do the parentswork, home and school work together to improve self-management skills of students;(2)conductteacher training, change management philosophy of teacher;(3)create opportunities forparticipation in classroom management, student management to enhance confidence;(4)Classobjective and rules are made by students and teachers;(5)to improve student evaluationsystem;(6) Integrate theory with practice,to explore the best model fit class.
