Modern society pays more and more attention to the development of individual democratic quality and citizen quality,and schools should assume the important responsibility of cultivating citizens' democratic spirit and self-awareness.Class student autonomy refers to a class management mode in which students,under the guidance of teachers,take the class as a platform,take the class affairs as the carrier,conduct self-management and self-restraint under the guidance of rules,try to practice group democratic life,and cultivate the consciousness of autonomy and democratic spirit.The research goal of this paper has two aspects: one is the value level,based on Tao Xingzhi's theory of student autonomy in-depth analysis,clarify the significance of student autonomy.Second,on the practical level,a school is selected to investigate the current situation of class autonomy,to understand the successful experience of actual class students in the process of autonomy,to analyze the existing problems,to explore solutions,in order to better cultivate students' autonomy ability and prepare them to become qualified social citizens in the future.The research contents include: first,the theoretical basis of implementing student autonomy in class is studied,and the necessity of student autonomy is discussed.The second is to study the current situation of student autonomy in junior high school,and observe and analyze the reality of class autonomy from different perspectives.The third is to study the problems of student autonomy in the class and their causes.In order to deeply study the status quo of class student autonomy,this paper adopts the method of combining qualitative research and quantitative research,and selects 200 students of different grades to conduct questionnaire survey,as well as interviews with some teachers and class cadre students.It is found that the following problems exist in the practice of education management: first,in the actual process of education management,most of the student autonomy organizations do not really play the role of cultivating students' democratic consciousness and exercising students' self-management.Second,there are differences in the teachers' management team's understanding of class autonomy.Third,students lack of understanding of participating in public affairs.Fourth,the school has some deviation from the original goal in the actual education and management,and the school's control over the quality of learning is likely to lead to the neglect of students' moral development and ability improvement.Fifth,exam-oriented education has a great impact on the development of students' selfconsciousness and personal ability.In view of the problems found in the study,the author believes that in addition to the timely correction of the problems,there are three aspects to improve the status quo: the first is to improve the teacher in charge of the comprehensive quality.The nature and characteristics of the profession require teachers to continuously expand their knowledge reserve and strengthen their self-cultivation.Teachers should take the initiative to absorb advanced education and management ideas to enrich their own teaching and management experience.Secondly,students should actively participate in the class affairs.The implementation of class autonomy is based on students' awareness and understanding of the value of democracy.Finally,the school should coordinate the relationship with the family and the society and help the students to develop better.The school should give strong support to the development of student autonomy and lead the teachers and students to promote the process of democratic education.
