The Influence Of Popul Ation Age Structuer On The Ecqnomic Growth And The Suegegliion In Hubei Province

The population problem is the most important factor that influences the social andeconomic sustainable development.Population and regional economic developmentare closely related. Population structure is the important basis of formulating regionaleconomic development planning.And it also should be researched carefully to drawup its long-term regional development planning. Controlling population growth,adjusting the structure of population and improving population quality are theessential guarantee for the sustainable development of population and economy.At present, our country has effective controlled the population growth.And theproblem about economic and environmental sustainable development which triggeredby population growth has been relieved.In the21st century, the research about thepopulation problem has changed, from the population size and growth to the structure.The population structure will be the core of China’s population problem in the21stcentury. During the two sessions in2013, the conference decided to withdraw thepopulation and family planning commission. Some places also have adjusted fertilitypolicy.The different ages have different economic behavior,so the change of populationage structure must affect the economic growth finally through the influence ofintermediate variables. This paper summarizes the domestic and abroad literature inthe first after expounding the background and significance of the study of populationcompletely. The main body of this paper starts from the theories of population agestructure and economic growth,and then analyzes the mechanism between thepopulation structure change and economic growtht. Then summary the change ofpopulation structure of Hubei Province, compared with the national,and the compareincluding population quantity, sex ratio,mortality,natural,growth rate, the ratio ofevery age groups and dependency ratio.And comprehensive analyze the trend of thedevelopment of population age structure and the reasons for such changes. The mainpart is the quantitative analysis of hubei province whether the development betweenpopulation age structure and economic is harmonious or not.The result shows that webelong to the basic coordination model province compared to the national averagelevel.But the research has shown that the overall situation of our country relatively in developed countries is advanced, so Hubei province is more advanced. On the otherhand the paper quantificationally analyzes the contribution rate of populationstructure on economic growth in Hubei province.The results show that thecontribution rate of labor force for economic development of Hubei province is largerand larger from2000to2013, but compared to the overall level, there are still largegaps, and has a tendency to grow. Finally suggestions are put forward,combining thereality of Hubei province.
