Since the convening of the party’s18, the general secretary Xi Jinping as thecore of the new central collective leadership put forward the great idea of "Chinadream"."China dream" is the new development of the popularization of Marxism,and it is constant innovation on the basis of inheritance of the theory of socialismwith Chinese characteristics."China dream" education on contemporary collegestudents has brought new opportunity to do a good job of ideological and politicaleducation in the new period."China dream" education on contemporary college students is an importantcomponent of the college students’ ideological and political education. It is the newdevelopment in theory and practice of ideological and political education. Throughthe investigation and analysis, at present,"China dream" education on contemporaryuniversity students has the preliminary results: one is to promote the college studentspaying more attention to current events and their cognitive ability, two is to enhancethe students’ sense of national pride and self-confidence, three is inspired era ofcollege students’ sense of responsibility and mission. But the achievements have beenobtained, at the same time, it still has many problems that can not be ignored: Thefirst is the definition of fuzzy education content, the second is lack of educationidentity, the third is the single comparison of education form, the fourth is lack oflong-term mechanism. The main reason of these problems of "China dream"education on contemporary college students is influenced by objective externalfactors and subjective internal factors. In the aggregate, are mainly affected by socialfactors, school factors and individual factors.In order to give full play to "China dream" education on contemporary collegestudents in promoting college students’ sense of national identity and nationalcohesion, cultivating college students’ socialist core values, advancing the actualeffect of ideological and political education, and promoting the growth anddevelopment of college students, on the basis of investigation and analysis of statusquo of "China dream" education on contemporary college students, we should takecorresponding countermeasures: first, to clarify the main content of the "Chinadream" education on contemporary university students. Second, the formation of contemporary college students’ identity of "China dream" education. Third, enrichthe form of education. Fourth, the establishment of long-term mechanism of "Chinadream" education.
