College students are the future of the nation and the hope of state. Their ideal faith is directly related to the great cause of socialist modernization construction in China whether can develop smoothly. On December 29,2012, Xi Jinping, the general secretary proposed the "China dream" when he was visiting the exhibition of "the road to revival" Further, he illustrates the great idea of "China dream" at the twelfth session of the National People’s Congress conference. "China dream" pointed out the direction and provided the era connotation for the current college students’ideal faith education.College ideal faith education is the core of the ideological and political education of college students, which is need to attach great importance and conscientiously study topic for a long time. At present, the research on college students’ideal faith education has achieved some achievements of theory and practice. The current college students’ideal faith is in good condition, but there are some problems and shortcomings, such as lack of poor, utility, self, enjoyment and so on, which cannot be ignored.
